With that in mind, let’s go over a few additional tips to help ensure you are renting the right forklift for your specific needs:

  • Make sure you are renting from a reputable company. These days you can never be too careful when it comes to doing business with, well, anyone. When renting a forklift in Irving, you want to make sure the company you are renting from has a good reputation, responds quickly, and offers reliable equipment. Use common sense and go with your gut, you certainly don’t want to rent from a company that doesn’t have your best interests in mind.
  • Make sure that you get your deposit back. Most forklift rental companies will require a deposit to ensure the safety of their equipment. This is standard procedure, but make sure that you do everything you can to get that deposit back. If the equipment sustains any damage, be sure and document it and contact the rental company right away. In some cases a hold may be placed on your card, so paying with a credit card can help prevent your funds from being tied up.   • Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Renting a forklift is a big decision that you should take your time to make.
